Godzilla trailer heavy on distraction, light on the monster

The new Godzilla, whose remake his theaters in May, is the tallest ever.

Dec. 10 (UPI) -- In the tense new trailer for the Godzilla remake, the monster is mostly absent.

Instead, he appears only as a shadow, momentary, and a terrifying specter laying waste to the city beneath his feet.

Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson as a marine, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, and Elizabeth Olsen, Godzilla will hit theaters on May 16, 2014.
