Dec. 9 (UPI) --
If you've been worried about Macaulay Culkin
, who resurfaced last October after reports of a serious drug addiction, worry no longer. The former child star, best known as home-defending booby-trapper Kevin McCallister
, has formed a pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band with anti-folk musicians Matt Colbourn, Phoebe Kreutz, Deenah Vollmer and Austin Kilham.
According to The Pizza Underground's Bandcamp page, the group recorded their album at Culkin's house last month. Songs like "Take a Bite of the Wild Slice," "I'm Waiting for Delivery Man" and "Papa John Says" cover tracks from both The Velvet Underground and its late frontman Lou Reed -- with pizza-themed lyrics, of course.
Culkin is credited with percussion and vocals. You can also hear him rip through a kazoo solo on "Take a Bite of the Wild Slice."
The band also has a pretty delightful Tumblr, which features redesigned Velvet Underground album covers that incorporate everyone's favorite party food.
