While some claimed that Underwood's Maria was "unbelievable" others said they thought it was "pretty bad."
Underwood herself was rather pleased with the performance writing on Twitter that she "couldn't be more proud."
"Glory to God tonight...I couldn't be more proud. What a tough thing to pull off and we did it! I am so blessed!!!" she tweeted after the show.
