Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Benedict Cumberbatch's voice is so smooth and silky that he narrates most of the Star Trek Into Darkness trailers. He'll also play the dragon Smaug in the second installment of Peter Jackson's upcoming Hobbit trilogy.

So who better to infuse an R. Kelly song with gravitas and smug British sensuality?

“I give you Emmy, Golden Globe, and BAFTA nominee, Benedict Cumberbatch,” Jimmy Kimmel says in the above video, as the camera pans to Cumberbatch sitting on a stool before the cover of R. Kelly's forthcoming album, Black Panties.
