Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Will Ferrell
's ignorant and egotistical alter-ego has been tearing up the country with his journalism skills ahead of the actor's appearance in the Anchorman
sequel. He opened the Ron Burgundy
School of Communication at Emerson College and co-anchored a 30-minute newscast
for a small station in Bismark, N.D., where he discussed hockey fights and a traffic cop.
Burgundy will also anchor ESPN's SportsCenter on Thursday. As a teaser, the network released his interview with Denver quarterback Peyton Manning. Among other things, Burgundy wanted to know how Manning managed to achieve success without a mustache.
"I'll be honest with you, you look like a succulent baby lamb."
Here's Burgundy's previous work in North Dakota:
Anchorman 2 hits theaters December 18.
