Swift spent most of 2013 touring and earning awards for her fourth studio album, "Red" but the singer is already "ahead of schedule" with her forthcoming record.

"We got a lot already," Swift said. "There are probably seven or eight [songs] that I know I want on the record. It's really ahead of schedule for me. I'm just stoked because it's already evolved into a new sound, and that's all I wanted. And I would have taken two years to make that happen, but it just kind of happened naturally, so that's all I could really ask for."

The "Trouble" singer wouldn't reveal any specific dates, song themes or tittles, but she did say it would "be fair" to expect her next album by 2014's fourth quarter.

Speaking of Swift's songs, the lauded star reportedly spent all Sunday night making an effort to ignore former boyfriend Harry Styles, of the British boy band One Direction.

Although Styles is rumored to have been the inspiration behind Swift's hit "Trouble," and she once hinted that she was "Never Ever Getting Back Together" with him, she ignored both him and his band as she walked past them twice walking to and from backstage at the AMAs.
