Did Angelina Jolie buy Brad Pitt a heart-shaped island for his 50th?

Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Angelina Jolie already made a public declaration of her love for Brad Pitt when she accepted an honorary Oscar award for her humanitarian work earlier this month, telling him: "Your support and your guidance make everything that I do possible."

So is she also planning to buy him a $20 million heart-shaped island?

An unnamed source told the Sunday Mirror that the 38-year-old actress had "arranged a viewing" of Petra Island, situated 50 miles off the coast of New York City, as a potential present for Pitt's upcoming 50th birthday in December.

“The house is perfect for romantic getaways or as a family retreat. It’s very private. And Angelina knows the fact the island is in the shape of a heart will mean so much to him," the source said.

The 11-acre Petra Island has two houses designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright and a helicopter pad.

But Donna Massaro, whose parents own the island, told E! News that the island is still for sale.

Massaro said, however, that the family would "be open" to showing the island to the jet-setting couple.
