Nov. 21 (UPI) -- George Zimmerman's estranged wife said back in September that she had "doubts" about his innocence. On Thursday, Shellie Zimmerman sat down with Katie Couric to shed more light on the man who was controversially acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin earlier this year.
"Going through the past year and a half, I don't know how that changes a person or [when] a person breaks, but I feel like that happened to him," Shellie said of her husband, who was recently charged with assault and battery in a domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe.
