A special on E! will check in with the former stars of 'The Hills,' who are living a quiet life in the suburbs of Santa Barbara.

Nov. 19 (UPI) -- E! has decided there isn't enough Speidi in the world, and is acting accordingly.

The network announced an hour-long special starring the former The Hills couple, husband-and-wife reality duo Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Set to premiere next month, After Shock: Heidi & Spencer will catch up on the couple, checking in on their "quiet" life in the suburbs of Santa Barbara.

"The second [The Hills] ended, in 2010, the jig's up," Pratt said, of their fall from reality primetime to relative obscurity. "Now you're irrelevant. Your fifteen 15 minutes are up!"

After Shock airs December 9 at 10 p.m. on the cable network.
