Nov. 18 (UPI) -- It's been more than a month since Bruce and Kris Jenner went public with their split, but the pair was playing nice at the All Sports Film Festival last week.

While Bruce Jenner wore his wedding ring (Kris opted to go without), all eyes were on the new ponytail the 64-year-old former Olympian was sporting at the event.

"I turned 64 two weeks ago and that I still have hair to grow!" Jenner explained. "I'm celebrating, yeah!"

His kids seem to be tolerating the new 'do.

"It's driving them crazy," Jenner joked. "It's absolutely wonderful."

But Brandon Jenner, who sports a bun himself, was definitely into his dad's new style.

"I do like it," he said. "I want him to be able to grow his hair and do whatever he wants to do. Full support."

Kris Jenner, to whom Bruce was married for 22 years, presented him the Legendary Athlete Award, celebrating his prowess on the track. And despite their recent split, the pair displayed nothing but warmth.

Kris Jenner called him "my best friend," giving him a big hug.

"You are truly deserving of this legendary award tonight," she said. "We love you, Bruce. Congratulations."
