Odom, 34, played for the Clippers from 1999 to 2003 and again during the 2012-13 season, but his career was derailed by a slew of personal issues, including drug-use allegations and a DUI arrest and a public separation from wife Khloe Kardashian.
The forward met with Clippers coach Doc Rivers and several of his former teammates after the team's practice Friday.
The Clippers have an available roster spot open and have reportedly shown interest in signing Odom again, despite having the worst season of his career with the team last year.
One NBA executive, speaking on condition on anonymity, said Odom "looked pretty good" and he is "not heavy weight-wise."
