Nov. 3 (UPI) -- The boys of One Direction are getting a little nostalgic in their latest video release by featuring photos of themselves as children and their family members in "Story of My Life."

The video for the folk-inspired release from "Midnight Memories" shows the singers operating equipment in a photography dark room, surrounded by photos from their childhoods.

Key photos from each of the singers' past is then recreated in the present. A photo of Zayn Malik and his sister in their bedroom as children is brought to life with each of them as adults.

A photo of Niall Horan playing violin with his brother on guitar is recreated with them both as adults.
Liam Payne's photo features himself, mother, father and sisters; Harry Styles sits on a couch with his mother; and Louis Tomlinson's photo presumably features his parents and grandparents, two of whom are noticeably absent in the present-day recreation.

The video was directed by Ben Winston, who also helmed One Direction's Video Music Award-winning "Best Song Ever" video, MTV.com reported.
