Easyjet confirmed that the man brought his "small pet snake" on-board the flight but said the snake remained in a container throughout the flight. A spokesman said that passengers were "not in any danger” but that the airline still questioned how the snake had been allowed on the plane. "We have raised the issue with [Tel Aviv] airport to understand why the reptile was not detected during security.”
