(UPI) -- Former Late Night with Jimmy Fallon producer Amy Ozols meant to send a note beginning with the phrase “Hey Dickface!” to the man who “stole” her job, Josh Lieb, but her message accidentally ended up in the hands of a family who were celebrating a birthday at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan.

The note was attached to giant bouquet of balloons that were mistakenly delivered to a family who was celebrating a birthday in a private dining room. When they opened the card that was delivered with the balloons, the family was greeted with the message: “Hey Dickface, This is what you get for stealing my job! I’m kidding, I love you, From Ozols.”

Ozols was initially tapped to handle duties as top producer at The Tonight Show when Fallon takes over from Jay Leno next year, but she lost out on the job because she lacks day-to-day producing experience.

The family figured out what was going on when they discovered a note from Fallon to Lieb reading, “Welcome to ‘The Tonight Show,’ Jimmy.” The family reportedly had a sense of humor about it and "laughed hysterically."
