(UPI) -- Anchorman fans may want to indulge their sweet tooth by picking up a pint of Ben & Jerry's newest flavor, Scotchy Scotch Scotch, before sitting down to watch the evening news.

According to the Ben & Jerry's website:

“We don't know how to put this but this flavor is kind of a big deal. Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it "Scotchy Scotch Scotch". Scholars maintain that the translation was lost hundreds of years ago. Stay Classy, From all of us at Ben & Jerry's."

The ice cream was unveiled at an event in New York City in anticipation of the release of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which premieres on December 20. The themed flavor is described as a butterscotch ice cream with butterscotch swirl.

Ben & Jerry's has previously done tie-ins with TV shows including SNL (Schweddy Balls) and 30 Rock (Liz Lemon Greek frozen yogurt), and also worked on flavors with musical acts like Phish (Phish food) and the Grateful Dead (Cherry Garcia).

Scotchy Scotch Scotch can be found at a variety of participating stores nationwide.
