(UPI) -- Even though it’s been four years since Michael Vick was released from federal prison for his involvement in a dog-fighting operation, he is still No. 1 on the E-Poll Market Research list of the Most-Disliked NFL Players.

According to the list, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was disliked by 53 percent of survey respondents. “Those who identify as big NFL fans like him, but much of the wider audience still knows him as the dog-fighting guy.”

E-Poll Market Research measures public opinion of thousands of celebrities based on likeability, awareness, confidence and other qualities. The list is based on a survey of 1,100 people ages 13 and up.

Behind Vick, the most disliked player is San Diego Chargers rookie linebacker Manti Te’o. The former Notre Dame player, who was famously “catfished” by a fake Internet girlfriend, scored a 48 percent dislike rating. Te’o hasn’t been on the field much this season due to a foot injury. “I think this will stay with him until he gets the chance to prove them wrong,” said E-Poll Chief Executive Gerry Philpott.

Detroit Lions linemen Ndamukong Suh had a 43 percent dislike rating and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had a 25 percent dislike score. Brady’s numbers show that women like him but that many men have trouble identifying with him. “He’s not the guy you think would come to your house and watch the Super Bowl with a couple of beers,” Philpott said.
