(UPI) -- The Greek island of Crete was hit by a 6.4 magnitude-earthquake Saturday afternoon, causing minor damage but no reported casualties.
The quake, which hit west of the Aegean island around 4 p.m. local time, and was occurred at a depth of 22.5 miles, the U.S. Geological Survey said. It could be felt throughout Greece, even in Athens, approximately 175 miles away from the earthquake's epicenter.
