(UPI) -- Miss Universe Olivia Culpo could spend up to two years in jail if found guilty of violating India's Heritage Act. But the U.S. born beauty queen claims she didn't "want to do it" in the first place.
Culpo came under fire Monday after pictures of her trying on designer shoes in front of the Taj Mahal surfaced online. Because brand promotion is prohibited at the world heritage site, the 21-year-old and her team could face up to two years in prison as well as a $1,600 fine if found guilty of the violation.
