HBO's popular epic fantasy series "Game of Thrones" is now a little easier to get, thanks to its addition to the Google Play marketplace.

"Game of Thrones" is joined by other popular HBO shows, including "The Newsroom," "Veep," "Girls," "Boardwalk Empire," and "True Blood."

So far, only the first two seasons are available, and the episodes can be purchased individually or by season.

The move is likely an attempt to capitalize on the show's status as the most pirated series of 2012 and 2013, thanks in part to how hard it is to get it legally.

HBO shows are otherwise only available with an HBO subscription, which for now, can only be purchased with a cable package. And HBO Go, the streaming service accessible online and on a variety of devices including smartphones, XBox and DVRs, is not available through a stand-alone subscription.
