Manson, also known as Brian Hugh Warner, is a huge fan of the show and he was on set so that he could shoot a cameo appearance. While he was backstage at the show's HBO studios, Manson, 44, looked extremely un-gothic and was sporting seemingly lighter hair.
The airdate for the episode in which Manson will appear has not been announced although it will probably be in the show’s fourth season. Mason has attended two of the show’s launch parties in the past and has reportedly been lobbying for a part on the show for quite some time.
He had previously written emails to the show’s star, Danny McBride, in the hopes of landing a role.
“I get weird emails from Marilyn Manson now,” McBride said in 2010. “He sends me weird emails in the middle of the night of what he's watching on TV, and you can hear him giggling in the background. One time he literally sent me a Peanuts special I guess he was watching, sometimes it's Eastbound, infomercials, anything.”
