During a special commemorating the program’s upcoming 25th anniversary, stars of the show appeared on "Entertainment Tonight" to share behind-the-scenes secrets about the sandy series.
Traci Bingham, who roamed the beach as Jordan Tate from 1996 to 1998, revealed that the beautiful beach bodies on "Baywatch" were contractually-obligated. "If you did anything to gain or lose weight, etc. you were in trouble," Bingham said. "There's a lot of pressure. It was in my contract. You really had to stay fit for the show."
The weight clause was clear -- hit the gym or hit the road.
"[There] was a five-pound fluctuation you couldn't go up or down," explained Nicole Eggert, who starred as Summer Quinn from 1992 to 1994.
David Hasselhoff, David Chokachi, Jaason Simmons, Parker Stevenson, Erika Eleniak, Brande Roderick and Gena Lee Nolin were all also interviewed for the reunion show.
Nolin shared that she struggled with her weight after leaving the program. "It was later in life when I found out that I had thyroid issues and gained a ton of weight," explained Nolin. "I got up to 200 pounds."
The show’s most famous star (with all apologies to the “Hoff”), Pamela Anderson, did not make an appearance.
