The pair has been renting a $20 million apartment in Beverly Hills for some time, but this week, they took a third tour of a $25 million NYC penthouse.
The Manhattan apartment is in the Upper West Side, directly across the street from Strahan's ABC gig.
The building is already home for other stars, including Eagles bassist Timothy Schmit, MTV founder Bob Pittman and sportscaster Marv Albert.
Strahan just celebrated his one-year anniversary of his gig on "Live! With Kelly and Michael," and now appears to feel secure enough to put down roots.
The apartment is a 5,500-square-foot, 10-room pad with views of Central Park. It has been on the market for months, but Strahan may have celebrity competition -- Bradley Cooper reportedly looked at the same apartment not long ago.
