Still battling rumors that his marriage to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner is on the rocks, Bruce Jenner had a boys' weekend away Friday and Saturday at the Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Va.

The 63-year-old former Olympian hit the track with his son Brandon for the Lamborghini Series, telling WSET that he was excited about the opportunity.

"I had heard about it a lot but never had the opportunity to come here," he said of the VIR.

"We're just going to go as quick as we can, try to drive smooth, I'm going to try to keep up with this guy," Brandon added.

"Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Demsey also hit the track for the American Le Mans Series.

VIR owner Connie Nyholm said celebrities help boost interest in the track.

"It exposes us to the fan, the casual fan who may then develop a deeper interest in racing," Nyholm said.
