Hilltown accident: Driver dead in mysterious three-car crash

A fiery crash in Hilltown, Penn., killed one of the drivers.

An accident Tuesday in Hilltown, Penn., left one man dead.

The three-car accident occurred at about 3 p.m., when the driver of a black Scion tC hit a pickup truck then collided with a garbage truck.

The driver of the Scion, Donnie Hopwood III, was killed.

The driver of the Mazda pickup was turning right into a driveway when Hopwood hit it from behind then crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. There, he was hit by a Mack truck.

Rescue workers pulled Hopwood out of the car and began resuscitation, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
