Watch OSU players line up to hug local anchor and grieving father Dom Tiberi

Grab a box of tissues before you watch Ohio State football players console a local sports reporter still grieving the loss of his 21-year-old daughter.

Dom Tiberi, a local sports anchor for Columbus' WBNS-TV, lost his 21-year-old daughter to a traffic accident Sept. 17, after her car struck a tractor-trailer stopped in heavy traffic. The whole Columbus community grieved for Tiberi, who has been covering Ohio State football since the 1980s.

But Tiberi didn't expect the surprise reception he got from the entire OSU football team, who lined up to hug him after winning their game against Wisconsin on Saturday.

Here's the raw video of OSU's thoughtful gesture.

"Just got home.... tired but proud of the @OhioStFootball for winning. Talked to so many caring people tonight... lots of hugs. Thank you!!," Tiberi tweeted after the game.

Ohio State also payed tribute to Maria with a moment of silence before the Buckeyes' game against Florida A&M on Sept. 21. Tiberi thanked them when went back to work a few days later. You can watch his emotional return below:
