Jimmy Kimmel asks pedestrians: Do you prefer Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act?

Jimmy Kimmel proves that some Americans don't know that "Obamacare" and the Affordable Care Act are the same thing.

If this Jimmy Kimmel spoof is any indication, names really do matter.

Polls have already demonstrated that many Americans oppose Obamacare at greater numbers than they oppose the legislation by its real name -- the Affordable Care Act. Similarly, some Americans say they oppose the Affordable Care Act in its entirety, but don't object to its content.

With those quandaries in mind, Kimmel sent a reporter out onto the streets of Los Angeles with a simple, albeit misleading, question: "Do you prefer Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act?"

As you might have expected, Kimmel's team found plenty of uninformed pedestrians who seemed to prefer the latter.

"I just think there are a lot of holes in it, and it needs to be revamped," one woman says of ACA.

"No they're not," she said, laughing, when the camera crew finally lets her in on the joke. "Thanks, you made me look stupid!"
