According to the report, Apple is worth about 98.3 billion, 28 percent more than in 2012. Coca-Cola's value rose to $79.2 billion, only a 2 percent increase.
Noting the number of tech companies rounding out the top-10 list, Interbrand CEO Jez Frampton said in an interview that "Brands like Apple and Google and Samsung are changing our behavior: how we buy, how we communicate with each other, even whether we speak with each other."
“They have literally changed the way we live our lives," he said.
Tech giants on the list have a combined value of $443 billion.
