Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Poor Jaguars.

In an attempt to boost ticket sales for their game against the Indianapolis Colts, the Jacksonville Jaguars are offering two free drinks for every ticket purchased.

The NFL team said on its website that the offer includes "water, soda and BEER!" The promotion is sponsored by Bud Light. Of all NFL teams, the Jaguars have the third-lowest attendance this year.

β€œThe response on this was OK,” said Dan Edwards, a spokesman for the Jaguars. Team officials are not concerned that the promotion could cause an increase in alcohol-related incidents during the game, Edwards said.

Only Oakland and St. Louis have drawn fewer fans for their home games this season, and the Jags have not ranked higher than 20th out of 32 in attendance since 2006. The Jaguars have lost their first three games this season.
