Jimmy Fallon and The Roots have played various hit songs using rainbow xylophones, recorders and kazoos to great success in a recurring segment on "Late Night." Their version of "Call Me Maybe," in particular, was a big-time web hit.

But the group's use of classroom instruments is perhaps best suited to this rendition of the "Sesame Street" theme song, taped in honor of the iconic show's 44th anniversary.

Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster and other members of the "Sesame Street" gang join in on the fun. May sure you stay tuned for a "Sesame Street"-themed rap by The Roots' Black Thought.
