Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson loses part of finger

During the Arizona Cardinals game on Sunday, safety Rashad Johnson reminded everyone how tough NFL players are.

Johnson lost the top of his left middle finger after tackling the Saints' Darren Sproles on a punt return.

Johnson came to the sideline after the play with a finger injury. When he took off his glove, the tip of his finger remained behind. The tweet below says it was his right hand, but it was actually his left.

He then stayed in the game after the injury. Johnson had surgery after the game to shave his finger down to the first knuckle, according to the report. The bone was exposed so infection is a possible concern.
