Mick Jagger is about to be the world's coolest great-grandfather.

The Mirror reported Saturday that the 70-year-old rocker, who is rumored to be considering another Rolling Stones tour, will become a great-grandpa when his granddaughter Assisi gives birth to her first child with boyfriend Alex.

Assisi Lola Jackson is the daughter of Jagger's daughter Jade, one of his seven children aged 14 to 42.

“She and Alex are thrilled and broke the news to their immediate families last week," a source told the Mirror. "Jade was a little taken aback at first, not least because it means she will be a grandmother by the age of 42."

“She’s expecting some ribbing from her showbiz pals," the source added. "Mick is delighted and has no qualms about being a great grandfather. He’s been joking about becoming a great, great, grandad and still performing!”

Jagger celebrated his 70th birthday this year, around the same time he and the Rolling Stones played to 65,000 people in Hyde Park.

"In a quarter-century of watching the Stones, I don't think I've ever seen them all smile so much on stage, nor maintain quite such momentum throughout two hours of classic hits," Billboard said of the 50-year-old band's longevity.
