Zac Efron went to coke-rich Peru after stint in rehab

Days after several media outlets revealed that Zac Efron completed his second stint in rehab over an alleged cocaine problem five months ago, TMZ is reporting that he visited "the cocaine capital of the world" last week.

The gossip site reportedly unveiled pictures of the "High School Musical" star taken on September 11 in which he is posing with fans in Peru.

Efron, 25, reportedly visited the country to do some mountain climbing as well as to see the ancient Inca ruins of Machu Picchu.

Though there is no reason to believe the actor was involved in any drug-consuming activities while visiting the South American country,TMZ points out it was ironic for Efron to pick Peru as a travel destination as the country overtook Colombia as the world's biggest cocaine exporter in 2011.
