While visiting The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday, the "Let There Be Love" singer explained that at this point in her life, "I'm 32 and I feel sexier than ever because you know what you want."
"I'm an artist, and expressing myself in a sexual way -- no matter how that changes throughout the years -- is something that has always come naturally to me," Aguilera said when asked about a cheeky quote of hers that appears in the latest issue of Maxim.
In the magazine, the five-time Grammy winner said that "the one place I don't need to be in control is in the bedroom."
When Leno asked her to elaborate, the mother of one did not hold back.
"I'm a big micromanager. I'm a stickler about organization: everything needs a place, a purpose...I think every woman should relax and allow herself to be pleased in the bedroom. It's the one place I can let go."
But for Aguilera, who has been dating production assistant Matthew Rutler for the past thee years, true joy only comes from her 5-year-old son Max.
"I bought a new house and he's going to a new school, so it's a lot for the little guy, but he's great," she said. "He's the joy of my life."
Regarding her much anticipated comeback to "The Voice" Aguilera said she was excited.
"It's like coming back to school in a way," she told Leno. "The boys are fun and we know each by now. We know our ins and outs... There's something about the four of us being together. We can't be serious for 30 seconds."
