Khloe Kardashian shares sad quote about 'masking the pain'

Khloe Kardashian's latest Instagram post features a young girl in a mask alongside the words, "She smiles to mask the pain in her heart. She laughs to conceal the tears in her eyes."

Though the 29-year-old television personality didn't elaborate, it's safe to assume that she's referring to recent drama surrounding her husband, Lamar Odom, and the rumored substance abuse problems putting a strain on their marriage.

Odom, a 33-year-old NBA veteran, spent a day in rehab earlier this month, following an August 30 DUI arrest in California's San Fernando Valley.

While the couple hasn't been seen in public since Odom's arrest, Kardashian was spotted wearing her wedding ring at Thursday's taping of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" in West Hollywood.

"It's not at the point where she's ready to file divorce papers," a source told E! News. "But she's pretty much given up trying to save the marriage."

Kardashian previously referenced her personal dramas in a tweet that read: "As much as I wish I were made of steel... I'm not."

"I'm pretty damn close to it though hehe," she added.
