Kenichi Ebina snags crown on America's Got Talent

Dancer and illusionist Kenichi Ebina won a headline show in Las Vegas and $1 million as the winner of season eight of "America's Got Talent."

Dancer and illusionist Kenichi Ebina walked away with the big prize after Wednesday night's finale of the eight season of "America's Got Talent."

Ebina, whose unique (and self-taught) mesh of special effects, miming and movement wowed the country, earning him the votes to win the $1 million and a headline show in Las Vegas.

"This is why 'America's Got Talent' is great: We discovered a superstar," said judge Howard Stern. "America got it right."

Ebina beat out comedian Taylor Williamson, U.S. Marine Corps veteran Jimmy Rose, who taught himself to play guitar while deployed in Iraq, tenor trio Forte, 17-year-old magician Collins Key and singer Cami Bradley.
