On December 10, Danica Patrick will be ditching the lime green jumpsuit and strapping on the black-tie apparel to host the American Country Awards.

The Sprint Cup rookie, fresh off her first full season at NASCAR's top level, will join superstar country singer Trace Adkins for the fourth annual awards show, replacing last year's co-host Kristin Chenoweth.

"I’m so excited to host the American Country Awards with Trace Adkins,” she said. “I have no doubt he’ll be able to keep up with me. I’ve become a huge fan of country music since I came to NASCAR.

"This is going to be a really cool experience, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

The show marks Patrick's first experience hosting a full-length television show, but she's hardly new to television: Patrick has starred in a memorable series of Super Bowl ads for her sponsor, Go Daddy. She also joined 2012 female artist of the year nominee Miranda Lambert in her "Fastest Girl in Town" music video.
