The rally is scheduled to last three hours and 16 minutes, as a nod to the Bible verse John 3:16, which Tebow had written on his eye black in the 2009 BCS National Championship game.
Jacksonville is 0-2 after losing to Oakland on Sunday. The team's starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert missed the game with a cut on his throwing hand, putting in backup quarterback Chad Henne.
"Make it clear, we the fans, want the Jacksonville Jaguars to bring in Tim Tebow. You know you want to see this happen," the organizers' website says.
Tebow spent the preseason working out with the New England Patriots, but the team released him in the final preseason cut.
