To promote her new candy line, Sugarpova, Maria Sharapova giggled with Chelsea Handler on "Chelsea Lately."
Sharapova joked about giving Handler the candy, saying that it was "just for your bottom." She has been promoting the candy line more often since an injury put her out of the US Open.
Then, she admitted that her mother was scared for her when she first went on the show.
"Well you can handle me, she shouldn't be scared of anything," Handler said.
"With you, you never know!" Sharapova laughed.
From there, the two continued to joke about Sharapova's family. At a recent birthday party for Sharapova in Los Angeles, Handler got to meet Sharapova's father.
"He kinda likes you," Sharapova laughed.
"He's been texting me," Handler teased. "Old men like me. They want to do bad things to my body," she said."
Mercifully, they got back to the candy. Handler said that one tasted like clay, but that she did like the flirty sour gummies.
A portion of Sugarpova sales go to the Maria Sharapova Foundation, which helps children around the world achieve their dreams.
