Get ready for this sequined Jenny Packham gown to fly off the shelves and inspire copycats, because Kate Middleton wore it to her first official appearance since giving birth.

The 31-year-old duchess of Cambridge stepped out with her husband, Prince William, for an evening at the Tusk Conservation Awards in London on Sunday. William is a patron of the charity, which funds conservation projects in Africa.

Speaking at the gala, William said that he and his wife were proud parents of a "roaring" baby.

"As you might have gathered, Catherine and I have recently become proud parents – of a baby who has a voice to match any lion's roar!" he said.

"This is actually our first evening out without him, so please excuse us if you see us nervously casting cheeky glances at our mobile phones to check all is well back home."

Kate also chose one of the British designer's more casual designs for Prince George's debut outside St. Mary's Hospital last July.

Just as royal watchers marveled at Middleton's "decision" to show off her post-baby bump outside the hospital, they're now eyeballing the new mom's suddenly slim figure.

"You could hardly tell she had just given birth," a source recently told US Weekly. "Kate's still breastfeeding, and the small weight she gained while pregnant has just melted off. She's not dieting."
