Topical Storm Humberto is forecast to be the first hurricane of the year as it continues to strengthen in the Atlantic.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Humberto could reach hurricane strength Tuesday or Wednesday.
"Humberto is tracking south of the disruptive wind shear and dry air that has kept this hurricane season relatively quiet thus far," Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski wrote for AccuWeather.
Pydynowski added that the storm's strength will depend on how long it continues to head west and is forecast to become a hurricane before it encounters disruptive winds and cooler waters.
In the mean time, Tropical Storm Gabrielle has re-formed and is heading toward Bermuda.
Hurricane season in the Atlantic begins June 1st and ends November 30th, according to the NHC. The Eastern Pacific hurricane season begins May 15th and also ends November 30th.
