Matthew McConaughey isn't the only "Dallas Buyer's Club" star to shed an alarming amount of weight for the upcoming drama, which premiered Wednesday at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Jared Leto, part-time 30 Seconds to Mars frontman and part-time actor, got his weight down to a startling 114 pounds to play an AIDS-stricken transexual woman named Rayon, who conspires with McConaughey's character to traffic medications from around the world.

“I stopped eating,” the 41-year-old actor told TheWrap. "It wasn’t an easy thing to do. It was 30 or 40 pounds. After a while I stopped counting.”

“It changes the way you walk, the way you sit, the way you think,” Leto added.

Leto told Vulture last year that he hoped the transformation transcended weight loss -- he even started plucking and waxing to fully embody his character.

"It's not about the most weight I can lose, it's more to represent the character. I'm focused on what it means to be a transsexual woman," he said at the time.
