Katy Perry looks luminous on cover of PRISM

Katy Perry revealed the cover art for her upcoming fourth studio album, "Prism," which drops October 22.

Pop princess Katy Perry has been quite generous with her fans heading into the weekend, first unveiling the video for her smash single "Roar," and now showing off the cover art for her upcoming album.

Friday morning, Perry tweeted an image of the cover of "Prism," her fourth studio album.

A fresh-faced Perry features on the cover, bathed in multi-colored light and surrounded by fresh blooms.

The cover is a significant departure from Perry's previous two albums, one of which showed her floating naked on a cloud of pink cotton candy, and the other with the singer styled as a living cartoon pinup girl.

"Prism" drops October 22.
