'Dancing With the Stars' season 17 cast revealed

"Dancing With the Stars" season 17 cast to include Bill Nye, Valerie Harper, Amber Riley and Keyshawn Johnson.

The cast for season 17 of "Dancing With the Stars" was revealed on "Good Morning America" in Times Square Wednesday. The two-hour premiere will air Sept. 16 on ABC.

Bill Nye, best known as "The Science Guy," is "feeling great" about his upcoming turn on DWTS. "It's all physics; it's all the study of motion," he said. Nye will be partnered with Tyne Stecklein.

Valerie Harper, best known for her role as Rhoda Morgenstern on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," looks forward to dancing despite having been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer earlier this year, and says doctors are pleased with her progress. She will be partnered with Tristan MacManus.

Amber Riley, known for her role as Mercedes on "Glee" will join the show and her Pro Partner will be last season's pro champion Derek Hough.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, formerly of reality show "Jersey Shore" and currently of "Snooki and JWoww," will join DWTS and show off her post-pregnancy weight loss. She will be partnered with Sasha Farber.

Keyshawn Johnson, former NFL Super Bowl Champion and current ESPN analyst, will be partnered with Sharna Burgess.

Leah Remini, star of the hit comedy "King of Queens" and recently in the news for leaving Scientology will be partnered with Tony Dovolani.

Jack Osbourne, the 27-year-old son of music legend Ozzy Osbourne and current TV personality will be partnered with Cheryl Burke.

Christina Milan, who is currently recording her fourth album, will be partnered with Mark Ballas.

Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, actress and author best known as Jesse on "Saved by the Bell," will be partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

Corbin Bleu, Disney and Broadway star best known for his role as Chad in the "High School Musical" franchise will be partnered with Karina Smirnoff.

Brant Daugherty, best known as Noel on ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars," will be partnered with Peta Murgatroyd.

Bill Engvall, a comedian with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, will be partnered with Emma Slater.
