TMZ reported Wednesday that the former "King of Queens" star will join the "Jersey Shore's" Snooki and terminally ill Valerie Harper on ABC's wildly successful dance competition for celebrities looking to revive their careers.

Remini, once one of Scientology's most devout celebrity supporters, split from the mysterious and controversial religion back in July.

"I believe that people should value family, and value friendships, and hold those things sacrosanct," the 42-year-old actress said of her decision to leave the Church.

"That for me, that's what I'm about. It wouldn't matter what it was, simply because no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to," she said.

Remini also filed a missing persons report for Shelly Miscavige, wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige, who hadn't been seen publicly in six years. Police investigated but concluded that Remini's claims were "unfounded."

ABC has yet to officially confirm any casting announcements. "DWTS'" 17th season starts September 16.
