Taylor Swift isn't Taylor Swift when she's not throwing shade at ex-boyfriends or Kanye West. So it's no surprise that the 23-year-old performer called out the man who inspired "I Knew You Were Trouble," during her acceptance speech for Best Female Video at the VMAs Sunday night.

"Thank you. Wow. I want to thank the fans because I tweeted about this a lot, I really really wanted this," she said. "I also want to thank the person that inspired this song, and he knows exactly who he is, because I got one of these!"

The cameraman must have known she meant Harry Styles, because he or she cut straight to the One Direction singer looking unmoved in the audience.

When Styles and his One Direction bandmates took the stage to present an award, the camera cut to Swift mouthing "Shut the f*** up" to BFF Selena Gomez.

"I can't say I'd have dated someone less famous to avoid it," he added.
