The Giants lost their 68th game of the season Sunday, matching their total from the entire 2012 regular season. They would have to win every remaining game to repeat last year's record.

The Giants had played well this week, but their 6-5 loss to the Miami Marlins dropped them to 3-3 on the road against Washington and Miami.

"It was OK," manager Bruce Bochy said. "It's just an okay trip. It could have been a good trip."

San Francisco has just 55 wins this season, and the schedule only gets more difficult. Next week, the Giants play Boston and Pittsburgh, both teams that have improved dramatically since last season.
