Perhaps remembered as one of the more sensible "Teen Moms" of MTV's popular reality series, Maci Bookout was popular enough to score her own one-hour special "Being Maci," which airs Sunday.

Now 22-years-old, the fiery red-head said she thought the special would be a "fun opportunity" to show fans "how much [my son] Bentley had grown and how much I have grown,” she told inTouch.

Bookout said that the show will be a departure from her teenage years.

“I’m still in school and I’m at a point now where I’m actually trying to figure out what career moves I want to make,” she added. “So you’ll be able to see all of that in the special and just kind of see how much different it is now that I’m older and I’m not seventeen anymore. It’ll be a lot different than what everyone’s used to seeing.”

Meanwhile, Bookout has been battling a "painful" but unidentified illness. The reality television personality recently wrote several tweets about a mysterious sickness that doctors can't figure out.

"I really need to not be sick anymore," Bookout tweeted last week. "Back to the doctor tomorrow! i should be on #mysterydiagnosis."

"This illness im dealing with is probably the most painful experience ive ever had physically and now my ass hurts from the shot too," she added a day later.

"Being Maci" airs Sundays at 10 ET on MTV.
