Justin Timberlake just wrapped up the last leg of his Legends of the Summer tour with Jay Z on Friday, but the 32-year-old performer has plenty of busy weeks ahead.
Not only is Timberlake slated to perform at the MTV VMAs -- where he'll pick up a lifetime achievement award named after Michael Jackson -- he's got another 11 songs to release.
"The 20/20 Experience," which dropped back in March, marked the singer-actors return to music after seven years pursuing other creative endeavors and a marriage to Jessica Biel. He must have had so much to write about because Timberlake and his manager decided that they had enough material to release a two-part album.
"The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2" drops September 30, and Timberlake recently revealed his tracklist by posting 11 videos of himself writing the songs on a piece of paper to Instagram.
Timberlake's manager, Johnny Wright, told Rolling Stone that each half of "The 20/20 Experience" has a different vibe.
"Some of the songs to him felt happy and lively, and some felt kind of dark," Wright said. "So we turned the two pieces into, like, seasons. Everyone's going to have a different opinion. But for me, the first half is about new love, the honeymoon, when you're just getting into a relationship. And when you get to the second part, the relationship is established and things are going on."
Here's the track list for "20/20 Experience: 2 of 2":
1. Gimme What I Don’t Know (I Want) 2. True Blood 3. Cabaret 4. T.K.O. 5. Take Back The Night 6. Murder 7. Drink You Away 8. You Got In On 9. Amnesia 10. Only When I Walk Away 11. Not A Bad Thing
