Beyonce booed, shows off new hairdo at Britain's V Festival

Not everyone unconditionally worships Queen Bey.

The 31-year-old singer's appearance at Virgin Media's V Festival got off to a rocky start when rain-drenched fans were unimpressed by her tardiness. Several boos could be heard from the audience when Beyonce kicked off her set in Chelmsford, Essex, with "Run the World (Girls)" on Saturday.

Though Metro reported that several fans abandoned her set over sound difficulties, NME and The Independent said Beyonce put on an impressive, 17-track show that included five costume changes and the first onstage appearance of her new hairstyle.

After sharing photos of her bold new pixie cut last week, the singer stepped out in Miami on Friday sporting a blonde bob.

"Thank you all so much for waiting in the rain... Now let's have some fun in the rain. It feels good doesn't it," Beyonce said later.
