Selena Gomez has announced plans to follow up her most recent album, "Stars Dance," with a new album in 2014.

Gomez has complained in the past about how "exhausting" it is to juggle her music and movie careers.

"I find that it’s just exhausting to do both," Gomez said. "I just really found myself not having a life. I felt like I wanted to separate it a little more once Wizards [Of Waverly Palace] was over, and I just kind of separated them as best as I could. It is hard, because I take such a long break without one or the other and I end up missing it a lot.”

The "Come & Get It" singer debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard charts with "Stars Dance" earlier in August, and will release her next single "Slow Down" soon.

Her world tour starts on August 14 in Vancouver, and will continue through Canada, the U.S. and Europe. Gomez plans to juggle it all, though, and still get a new album out.

“I’m just so pumped and definitely, the older I get, the more I get inspired and the bigger I want to make my music.”
